| Dear Brothers & Sisters: I pray this correspondence finds you walking in Gods grace & peace. The Garden State Choral Chapter is blessed to be celebrating its 30th Anniversary on Sunday, December 13, 2009. The celebration service will be held at the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Hackensack, New Jersey. Garden State Choral Chapter was organized in 1979 by Vivian B. Carman and the late Lewis Carman. Many persons like you have been a part of this ministry over the years. To commemorate our “Pearl Anniversary” we are inviting each of you to participate in a Reunion Concert and “Live” Recording. Our anniversary scripture is: Psalm 89:1. “I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.” Theme: “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” The Anniversary & Recording will take place Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 5:00 PM at the Mount Olive Baptist Church’s newly built Logan Family Life Center (274 Central Avenue Hackensack, New Jersey). This will be a ticketed event for non- singing members. General seating is $25 and VIP seating is $30. Rehearsals begin Monday, September 28, 2009, 7:30PM in the Sanctuary of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 260 Central Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey. The rehearsal schedule is enclosed. Please attend as many rehearsals as possible. All new songs will be recorded. In addition, our Preteens (ages 5-12 years) and Youth & Young Adult department (ages 13- 26 years) will record separately. We encourage you to invite family & friends who would like to participate in these groups. It is our prayer that you will be able to join us; however, if you are unable to attend but would still like to contribute, ads for our “Pearl Anniversary Souvenir Journal (including Boosters) to commemorate this milestone are available. Donations would also be greatly appreciated. Enclosed you will find the rehearsal schedule/locations, Anniversary attire information, Souvenir Journal details/forms, a response card and flyer.
